MICHAEL LESSER, M.D., along with the late Linus Pauling is one of the founders of the orthomolecular psychiatric movement, which focuses on nutritional and vitamin therapy.

The author of more than fifty peer-reviewed journal articles on his field, he is the founder of the Orthomolecular Medical Society and of Nutritional Medicine, a communications company that sponsors major world conferences on nutrition and vitamin therapy. He has been in private practice for the past twenty years and has testified before the U.S. Senate on nutrition and mental health.
